Our client initially hired a local engineer, but encountered many design flaws that we corrected once hired to re-engineer the actuator. With only two rounds of 3D modeling and prototype samples, we received final approval to move forward with production tooling and assembly, all within 4 months. In the first few months of production, we’ve shipped over 7.5 million units – and continue to do so.

Our client wanted to breathe new life into the design to attract a new generation to their product. After ten days of non-stop brainstorming with our engineering and design teams, we presented the Auto Charge Pro, using the inspiration of a coffee grinder machine to incorporate an interactive touch-screen and higher precision electronic scale. Our product featured new adjustable legs to level the device and occupied a smaller footprint, freeing up more space on the consumers work table.

Beginning with a rough idea from the client, our team designed a comfort hand pad set.

In 2017, our client found that most of the available vault doors in the market were prohibitively expensive. They wanted to develop an inexpensive vault door, but durable and robust. With this requirement in mind, we developed a well constructed vault door that our client can sell for $1500, including shipping to the customer.

The “Jerry vs. Vault Door” video demonstrates how strong our design is at this value. It is currently still the least expensive of its kind in the market, while maintaining the durability needed for secure storage at home.

Manufacturing a vault door may be easy in China, but to ship such a large item from China to the US, and then from the warehouse to the end user can be challenging to avoid damage in-transit. Our vault door was extremely well received in the market. Based on consumer feedback, we added variety with multiple door sizes to choose from, along with the ability to choose whether the door should swing in or out. We are currently developing three more models, including a version with both sides (left/right) hinged so that the user can choose which side opens. We are also designing a higher-end model with all new features.
